NOT SAFE FOR WORK: First Look at Zombie Film The EpidemicKnow what irritates the hell out of us? When people throw white makeup on the faces of their friends, splash them with stage blood, tell them to run really fast, film it, and then call it a zombie movie. So many indie filmmakers have done just that. However, Nigel Hartwell is NOT one of them.

We get sent a lot of indie projects to look at around these parts from filmmakers trying to raise money for their movies. We spare you the majority of them because 95% of them will either never get made, are just plain lazy looking, or don’t spark our interest.

After sitting through Hartwell’s truly ambitious sales trailer for his film The Epidemic, we’ve gotta say, “We’re sold!” Sure, it’s rough around the edges, but the guy has something big and cool in mind. The best part? It’s NOT SAFE FOR WORK! That’s right, horndogs! Here’s your chance to add a bit of boobage to your afternoon!

Hartwell also has a cast in place which includes Danny Trejo (of course), Corey Feldman, Larry Zerner, and more!

You're such an inspiration for the ways that I will never, ever choose to be.

Guys, it’s a sales trailer made for nearly no money, and its ambitious. That’s all I sad. at the very least it’s not another goth gone wild affair and so I gave it it’s due. That’s all.

I didn’t mean to criticize you, just saying the movie looks god awful. My fault.

No sale for me, either way. The animation and special effects look like cut scenes from a PS-1 game.

This article must be tongue in cheek.

There’s no way Creepy gets excited over a trailer starting in “In the near future… something happens!”

    Way to build tension.

    I’ll pass.

Know what irritates the hell out of us? Seeing an article, watching Creepy getting all excited for something and then viewing the trailer. Ugh. The only thing ambitious about this is the cast. I hate it when you toy with me, dude. Don’t worry though, I WILL fuck you back.
