Jesus H. Tap Dancing Christ. Somebody got paid to write that?

Frightening, isn’t it? It helps to share the pain.

        For real.

Hey Steve, what’s up with suddenly posting under your actual name ?!?!?! Did Warren Publishing finally threaten legal action ??? LOL.

    • frank_dracman

I know it’s a little thing, but it’s so weird to see Steve’s name instead of Creepy. It’s been what, over a decade he’s been using that? Debi also switched to her real name. I guess our kids are all grown up and want to be seen as serious journalists. 😀

      • Steve Barton

There’s no legal action to be taken as that name thing was settled long ago. I can still use it. According to my tech people it had something to do with Google authorship not linking me because it wasn’t my real name or something like that, (not really sure because I’m not the techie type and barely know HTML and photo-shop) and right now with the economy being shit and being that we’re independently owned every click and little bit of traffic helps to keep us afloat, ya know? I could have changed it to Steve Uncle Creepy Barton but that just seemed too fucking long.

It’s also more professional to use your real name. The whole nicknames thing is only good for occasional usage, IMO. Not that I don’t love nicknames for the DC writers, it’s just more professional.
