Here's Your Invitation to Come Join Leatherface for a 35mm Screening this SaturdayI’ve been a fan of Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Masscare III since it was released, but a lot of you have washed you hands of it for some reason. Those of you in the Los Angeles area have a chance to reappraise it this weekend at the New Beverly Cinema.

Screening this Saturday, April 5, at 11:59 PM, Leatherface: Texas Chainsaw Massacre III is part of Brian Collins’ Horror Movie A Day / New Beverly Midnights ongoing series. If all you remember about this one is that it was, somewhat infamously, butchered by the MPAA, or if you’re an anti-franchise snob who doesn’t think a sequel can have merit, you should consider giving it another shot. It’s really just a slicker, pseudo-remake of the original, but with all the 80s characteristics that make a movie fun: a fantastic cast, good one-liners, heavy metal and some inspired carnage.

The New Beverly Cinema is located at 7165 Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles, CA. Tickets are only $8 and can be purchased here.

Doors open at 11:59 PM.
