Entertainment Weekly has scored an exclusive look at the incredible poster whipped up for the theatrical revival courtesy of artist Jason Edmiston. They also sat down with Hooper, who opened up about the process of restoring the classic film for its return to the big screen.
“It’s in 7:1 sound that completely wraps around you and in 4K [resolution],” says the master of horror. “The film works as well, if not better, than it originally did.”
Hooper went on to say that the restoration process was “the work a director should do, to keep his film preserved.” Amen to that.
As soon as we find out further details about this exciting re-release, we’ll be sure to let you know!
