Is there extraterrestrial life out there? It’d be egotistical to think we’re the only living things in the universe, wouldn’t it? Next week Science Channel dives headlong into this subject, bringing us “Are We Alone? Week” and unveiling its new show “Close Encounters.”
“Close Encounters” premieres on Tuesday, March 4, at 10PM ET/PT. Among the other highlights of Are We Alone? Week (March 2-7) are all-new episodes of “NASA’s Unexplained Files” (March 2 at 10 p.m. ET/PT) and “Through the Wormhole with Morgan Freeman” (March 5 at 10 p.m. ET/PT).
For more info on the scheduled programming, you can visit the Are We Alone? Week page on Science Channel’s website.

Seventy-four percent of Americans believe in the existence of aliens – and 15 million believe that they have actually made contact with extraterrestrials. Beginning Sunday, March 2, Science Channel returns with its programming event dedicated to one of mankind’s most pressing questions with Are We Alone? – a week-long campaign dedicated to satisfying viewers’ appetite for aliens.
