Thank God for these shows. The Following just gets dumber and dumber, and Sleepy Hollow really started going around in circles after the first couple of episodes. I’ll take Grimm and Hannibal over either of those.

It seems like Grimm doesn’t get a lot of notice from the horror crowd, but it is one of my favorites of the current batch of genre series for sure. It’s so nice that all the main characters are adults, and there’s no silly triangle to have to deal with (I’m talking to you, The CW). I do still like Sleepy Hollow although it seems to be a real love it or hate it type show. Hannibal and Bates Motel are way up there for me, too – my DVR is gonna get a workout these next few months!

Grimm started out so-so, but it just keeps getting better in my opinion. I wouldn’t say I hate Sleepy Hollow, but it seems to retread a lot of old ground. The episode where they had the dream demon and they had to enter her dreams to fight it was just one example where it was too predictable.
