Hellgate Release Correction

London is burning!Hellgate: London is set for release on our favorite holiday of the year, and not by some strange coincidence. The PC action RPG from many of the same minds that brought us Diablo has definitely got a pretty heavy horror slant, if that wasn’t obvious from the whole Hellgate thing.

The collectors edition is going to debut at the same time as the regular edition, and it comes with a number of extras that should appeal to anyone already excited for the title: A 104 page graphic novel based on the game from Dark Horse comics; a DVD on the making of the game; the games soundtrack; and a map of Hellgate: London’s world.

Whether that means it’s a world map of the games version of the future, or just a map of the games version of London is anyone’s guess… mine being the latter.

The highly customizable, highly replayable title should be worth the money by itself, but now those that want to get a more lavish package can do so. Given that it’s only ten extra dollars, or the price of an Xbox 360 or PS3 game, I’d call it a no brainer.

  1. I can’t freaking wait for this game. I played in a couple years ago at E3. It looked like a real interesting take on a mix between RPG and FPS. I’ll probably pick it up for the PC and save the $10 next gen gaming tax.
