Screen Media Engages in a Battle of the Undead

It used to be the characters in horror films who couldn’t get away from zombies, but now it feels more like it’s us fans that can’t escape them. Read on for details about Battle of the Undead, the latest in a never-ending stream of undead action.
As per Screen Daily, Screen Media has acquired worldwide rights to the film, which is the debut feature of Israeli writer/director Eitan Gafny.
The Lebanon-set zombie thriller stars Liron Levo, Yafit Shalev, Roi Miller, Emos Ayeno and Gome Sarig.
The flick follows an Israel Defense Forces special ops unit sent into Lebanon to capture a Hezbollah leader only to land themselves in an unexpected conflict with bloodthirsty zombies.
Gafny, Shalev and Tom Goldwasser produced. Screen Media will release the film in spring.
