Though you may not know their names, you no doubt were impressed by their performances in last year’s Here Comes the Devil and American Mary. Both Francisco Barreiro and Tristan Risk have just signed on to appear in a new horror film, which we’re here to tell you all about!
As reported by Fangoria, Barreiro and Risk have nabbed the lead roles in Love Sick, a feature-length expansion of a short called “M Is for Marriage,” which was an entry into the ABCs of Death 2‘s 26th Director Challenge.
They’ll play Marcus and Rebecca, who have decided to part ways after ten years. After separating and being with others, they quickly realize how hard it is to disconnect from one another. The pain, lies, and betrayal all begin to manifest physically within the both of them as well as infect the others who have become involved with them intimately. They love each other so much that it hurts… some more than others.
Todd Freeman wrote and is directing the film. You can check out his short “M Is for Marriage” below, which will give you an idea of what to expect from Love Sick!
