The Hollywood Reporter
Earlier this year we got some scoop on what’s coming up when “Under the Dome” Season 2 kicks off this summer, and now we have casting news for two new characters who will be joining the fray. Both Eddie Cahill and Karla Crome are now on board; read on for the details.
Per THR, Eddie Cahill (pictured right and below left; “CSI: NY”) will give Big Jim (Dean Norris), the show’s big bad, a new rival. The actor is set to play Sam, Jim’s brother-in-law.
The character is described as “a handsome recluse and former EMT who can hold his own against Big Jim and forms a deep connection with Julia (Rachelle Lefevre).”
UK actress Karla Crome (pictured below right; “Misfits,” “Prisoners Wives”), meanwhile, will make her US TV debut as Rebecca, “a beautiful teacher who is athletic, smart, tough, and sexy. She grew up as an Army brat and lived with her family in many locations around the world.”
The cast additions come as “Under the Dome” is poised to kill off two “favorites” when it returns with its Stephen King-penned Season 2 premiere on June 30th.
