Universal Announces Release Dates for Ouija and Crimson Peak

Universal took some time today to announce release dates for two of their higher profile horror releases, Ouija and Guillermo del Toro’s Crimson Peak. Read on for the latest details.
The Platinum Dunes-produced Ouija has been slated for release on October 24, 2014. Stiles White is directing the film that follows a group of teens playing with a Ouija board, making contact with an evil spirit, then desperately trying to close the door they’ve opened.
Ana Coto, Bianca A. Santos, Vivis Colombetti, Douglas Smith, Erin Moriarty, Matthew Settle, Olivia Cooke, Robyn Lively, Daren Kagasoff, and Bill Watterson star.
Then, the following year will see Guillermo del Toro’s Crimson Peak open in theaters on October 16, 2015. In the film young author Edith Cushing discovers that her charming new husband is not who he appears to be.
Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska, Charlie Hunnam, Jim Beaver, and Tom Hiddleston star.
