Scream writer Kevin Williamson knows a lot about stalking, and he’s getting ready to apply his wondrously nasty knowledge to another project for the small screen for CBS. Read on for the first details.

According to Variety the untitled project revolves around a pair of detectives who handle stalking cases for the Los Angeles Police Department. The project hails from Warner Bros. TV and Williamson’s Outerbanks Entertainment banner.

Williamson wrote the script and will exec produce. He’s already commanding a hefty chunk of primetime real estate as the showrunner behind “The Following” on Fox and an exec producer of The CW’s “The Vampire Diaries” and “The Originals.”
