Premiering last night after the live NFC Championship game gave “The Following” a big increase over the number of viewers who saw its Season 1 finale, but will they (and you) return for Episode 2.02, “For Joe”? Here are some photos and a preview to help you decide.
First, here’s the breakdown of the premiere’s ratings: It earned a series high 4.4 adults 18-49 rating (or 11.2 million), up 38 percent from a 3.2 for the Season 1 premiere on Monday, January 21, 2013, and up 63 percent from a 2.7 for the Season 1 finale.
If you missed Episode 2.01, “Resurrection,” it’s airing again immediately before “For Joe,” from 8-9PM on Monday, January 27th.
One year after Ryan Hardy’s pursuit of serial killer Joe Carroll, a healthy and healed Ryan is living in New York City. On the surface it appears Ryan’s gotten his life back together, but deep down his obsession with Joe continues to grow. Then, on the anniversary of Joe’s death, a new murderous rampage leaves everyone shocked and determined to discover the truth.
