Eagle One Media Sets DVD Date for Splash Area: Night of the Freaks

Nearly two years after scooping up the Jury’s Choice award at the 2012 Freak Show Horror Film Festival, killer clown flick Splash Area: Night of the Freaks has been acquired by Eagle One Media, who have set a home video date for the film.
Already available on digital platforms iTunes, Play Google, and Amazon Instant, Splash Area is set for stateside DVD release on January 21.
Written and directed by George Clarke, the film stars Anthony Boyle, Leanne Marks and Ruby Campbell.
Synopsis
Halloween Night. A gang of killer clowns are on the rampage and after seeing their friend mutilated by them, three friends decided to go above the law in a bid to stop the red nosed crazies. Following them to an old asylum, they soon become the hunted in this fun house of blood and guts, fighting for survival against muscle, madness and chainsaws… Putting an unusual spin on the usual ‘teens vs killers’ flick, Splash Area delivers a grindhouse horror with a cast of fresh faces, plenty of action and enough black comedy to keep everyone happy!
