Twentieth Century Fox has announced a Valentine’s Day weekend release for the Poltergeist remake. Gil Kenan is currently lensing the film that will hit theaters February 13, 2015.
Rosemarie DeWitt, Jared Harris, Sam Rockwell, Kyle Catlett, Saxon Sharbino, and Jane Adams star in a revisionist take on the classic horror film. David Lindsay-Abaire, Juliet Snowden and Stiles White worked on the screenplay.
Synopsis
A family struggling to make ends meet relocates to an outdated suburban home and is confronted by an angry spirit who kidnaps their youngest daughter and challenges them to band together to rescue her from the clutches of evil.
