Captain America Director Finds Himself at The Brink of Extinction

Aliens. They just won’t leave us alone, man. Every time we turn around, they’re either invading, probing, mimicking, or even just collecting all of our Reese’s Pieces for mass consumption. Friggin’ pests. Good thing for us we have the dude who directed Captain America in our corner!
According to THR, Joe Johnston, who directed 2011’s Captain America: The First Avenger as well as cult comic book movie The Rocketeer, is in negotiations to direct Extinction, a sci-fi feature project set up at Good Universe.
David Hoberman and Todd Lieberman of Mandeville are producing Extinction, which was written by Spenser Cohen.
Plot details are being kept under wraps, but it does involve a man trying to save his family with an alien invasion figuring into the proceedings.
Good Universe picked up the project in late summer 2013.
