Hot on the heels of scooping up awards and acclaim on the festival circuit, Oren Carmi’s Goldberg & Eisenberg is heading to the Slamdance Film Festival later this month. It looks to be a wild one, and we’ve got the official trailer for ya today.
The flick stars Eran Bohem, Daniel Brusovani, Ronny Dotan, Yahav Gal, and Yitzhak Laor.
Goldberg & Eisenberg is a darkly comedic thriller about a lonely computer programmer who becomes the victim of a psychopathic stalker and will screen at Slamdance on January 19th and 21st.
Synopsis
Goldberg is a mediocre computer programmer. He spends most of his energy searching online for a girlfriend. Eisenberg is an emotionally disturbed thug. Unfortunately the two cross paths, and Eisenberg decides that they should start hanging out. Goldberg tries to avoid him, but Eisenberg’s presence is everywhere: his apartment, his dating life, even his nightmares. Goldberg is unwillingly drawn into Eisenberg’s bizarre world of petty thieves, Russian neo-Nazi punk rockers, and Israeli “redneck” farmers…
