Looking for something to be thankful for? Be glad you’re not living in Victorian England with Van Helsing testing his experimental sunlight serum on you like the poor vamp in this clip from tomorrow night’s “Dracula” Episode 1.05, “The Devil’s Waltz.”
“Dracula” stars Jonathan Rhys Meyers as Dracula/Alexander Grayson/Vlad Tepes, Oliver Jackson-Cohen as Jonathan Harker, Jessica De Gouw as Mina Murray/Ilona, Thomas Kretschmann as Abraham Van Helsing, Katie McGrath as Lucy Westenra, Nonso Anozie as R.M. Renfield, Victoria Smurfit as Lady Jayne Wetherby, Ben Miles as Mr. Browning, and Robert Bathurst as Lord Thomas Davenport.
“Dracula” Episode 1.05 – “The Devil’s Waltz” (airs 11/29/13)
Harker discovers that General Shaw is far from the heroic figure he presents to the public. Van Helsing’s first attempt at infusing a vampiric test-subject with his solar-serum is a disaster.
Lord Davenport’s agents abduct and torture Renfield. Harker and Mina’s engagement party sets a stage for betrayal and contretemps when a single dance between Mina and Grayson unveils their true feelings.
