From the Press Release
Queen Gorya and her co-host Terry ‘The Wolfman’ Bowman dodge becoming faded reality stars and members of an exclusive cult in this indie horror comedy TV pilot from Final Fangirl Productions/Mad Carousel Films.

Merging the offbeat humor of cult films like Shaun of the Dead with an in-depth gaze at the iconic profession of horror hostess, the producers of “Queen Gorya” are searching for a permanent home for the half-hour horror comedy TV series.

After Team “Queen Gorya” hit the pavement at several horror and comic conventions, gathering a steady following, they decided it’s time to give back to the fans and deliver the beginning of a long journey into the abyss of the late-night TV horror comedy spotlight.

Synopsis
Once upon a time, Gloria Gorgodian (Satu Runa) was “Queen Gorya,” an infamous late night horror hostess on basic cable. Today, she slaves away in a dive bar whilst making the occasional convention appearance with her former co-star, Terry (Steve J. Palmer), an eccentric wannabe werewolf. Gloria is perfectly willing to sink further into bitterness and self-destruction, but the world isn’t quite done with her yet.

An ambitious, peculiar young film student, Jane Riley (Haley Hudson), sets out to make a documentary about Gloria and drag her back into the public eye. After being robbed and terrorized by her ex-boyfriend, Gloria is forced to reconnect with her prickly Armenian father. Covertly spying on Gloria’s life is a dangerous cult of nerds who believe that she is the fabled “Moonchild,” an ethereal occult messiah as foretold by Aleister Crowley.
