AFM 2013: eOne Entertainment Takes Home The Hunted Just in Time for the April Apocalypse

New Trailer for The Hunted Stalks its PreyTwo new flicks have found themselves a new home with eOne Entertainment – the zombie comedy April Apocalypse and Josh Stewart’s (The Collector, The Collection) new film entitled The Hunted. Read on for details.

April Apocalypse was directed by Jarret Tarnol from a script by Brent Tarnol, who both produced the film via their Tarnol Group Pictures banner. The film stars Reece Thompson and Rebekah Brandes with Brent Tarnol, Stephanie Hunt, Todd Stashwick, Mark Rolston, Sarah Hyland, Roger Bart, and George Lopez.

Synopsis
After finally building the courage to sweep his dream girl April off her feet, hopeless Artie crashes his car and wakes up in the middle of the zombie apocalypse. With more power and courage than ever before, Artie’s love for April transforms him into a badass zombie slayer taking down everything that steps in his path. With an infected bite on Artie’s hand, time is of the essence as he must save April before he turns into a flesh-eater himself.

The Hunted was written, directed by, and stars Josh Stewart with Brett Forbes and Patrick Rizzotti producing via their Fortress Features banner.

Synopsis
In an attempt to land their own TV show, Jake (Josh Stewart) and Stevie (Ronnie Gene Blevins) head to the dense, secluded mountains of West Virginia. Equipped with only their bow and cameras, they have three days to kill a monster buck big enough to grab the attention of a TV network. Once they find the massive animal, they look to strike fast. But as the sun sets, they realize they’re not alone. A supernatural force appears to be lurking in the vacant woods… and now they’re the ones being hunted.
