Blumhouse has found a kid to turn all demonically killer for their new terror tale Incarnate as the child actor from Fox’s horrendous show “Touch,” David Mazouz, is set to do a lot more than just count things with Kiefer Sutherland.
Deadline reports that Mazouz has booked a lead role in director Brad Peyton’s thriller Incarnate to play a boy found by an unconventional exorcist (Aaron Eckhart) who is possessed by a demon from the man’s past.
Catalina Sandino Moreno also stars. The movie begins production this month in Los Angeles.
The plot focuses on an unconventional exorcist who can tap into the subconscious of the possessed; he meets his match when a 9-year-old boy is possessed by a demon from his past.
Blumhouse and IM Global co-finance the film. Jason Blum is producing, and Couper Samuelson is exec producing with Michael Seitzman and Trevor Engelson.
