Wes Anderson Meets Home Invasion Horror in Hilarious SNL Skit!

Post Thumb:

Wes Anderson Meets Home Invasion Horror in Hilarious SNL Skit!“Saturday Night Live” may not be as funny as it used to be, but that doesn’t mean the writers are completely devoid of brilliant ideas. In fact, one skit in particular from this past weekend’s show stands out as the most brilliant we’ve seen all year.

Edward Norton was the host of the show, and in the funniest skit of the weekend he was tasked with playing Owen Wilson in a faux trailer for a horror film directed by Wes Anderson. Titled The Midnight Coterie of Sinister Intruders, the brilliant trailer fuses together the quirky charms of Anderson’s films with the horror and brutality of the work we’d expect from a totally different Wes.

The results? A pretty hilarious skit that really does feel like it was made by Wes Anderson. What would it look like if he decided to make his own take on a film like You’re Next or The Strangers? Watch the skit below to find out!
