Horror movies about killer scarecrows are nothing new, but the horror short scAIRcrows puts a new twist on a horror staple by making the scarecrows flying terrors. You will believe a scarecrow can fly – then you’ll die.

Writer-director Chris Gallagher sent along info on his 30-minute horror short scAIRcrows, starring Merry Fotso, Damien Warren-Smith, and Dan McSherry.

scAIRcrows tells the tale of four friends who are spending a lazy summer afternoon in a park, unaware of the aerial terror that is coming their way. Four sentient scarecrows with the ability to become airborne are engaging in a killing spree that may well put an end to the friends’ plans for the day. And their lives.

If you live in London, you can attend a free screening on the 5th of December at the Phoenix Cinema in East Finchley. The rest of us will have to settle for this rough, ungraded 30-second trailer while we wait for our chance to see flying scarecrows on a killing spree.
