Prepare Yourself Los Angeles - The Beyond Fest Has Arrived We all love our horror conventions and film festivals, but when the weekend is over, it’s over. So Los Angeles’ own Beyond Fest has decided to stretch everything out for nearly a month. Now that’s a festival you can sink your teeth into. Yeow!

For those not yet in the know, Beyond Fest is a world genre film festival dedicated to developing the best in horror, sci-fi, fantasy and all-around badass cinema. It’s being held from October 9-31 at the American Cinematheque in Hollywood. All about being progressive, Beyond Fest is bringing progressive rockers Goblin (playing their first-ever Los Angeles shows) to town as well as the reborn and red-hot genre film Clive Barker’s Nightbreed: The Cabal Cut. They will also host their 8th Annual Dusk-to-Dawn Horrorthon (featuring between films free food, giveaways and surprises) and the Los Angeles premieres of films like Sion Sono’s Why Don’t You Play in Hell? and Ben Wheatley’s A Field in England.
