Watching Steven C. Miller’s films over the years has been a pretty amazing experience. He’s one of the few directors out there who get better with every at bat, so we’re always pleased to know when Miller has something new cooking. Speaking of which…
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Miller is beginning the casting process for his next feature, Submerged, which is being produced by Brad Kaplan and Tiffany Kuzon of Evolution Entertainment.
The script, by Scott Milam, sees a limo ride home from a party turning into a terrifying ordeal for a group of college kids. A young woman and her friends have been targeted by a ring of vengeful kidnappers and must do everything they can to survive after their limo is forced off the road and plunged into a canal.
Not sure how Dread worthy this one will be, but we’d be remiss if we did not at least mention it! The project was previously known as The Space Between. An October start in Los Angeles is being eyed.
