It’s been a long time coming, but the latest slasher film presented by Joe Dante, Justin Guerrieri and Joseph Guerrieri’s Trail of Blood, is finally on its way to home video this December, and we’ve got a look at the artwork and more for you!

A weekend getaway turns horrifying when Joe Dante presents Trail of Blood, arriving on DVD (plus Digital UltraViolet), Digital HD, Video On Demand and Pay-Per-View December 3 from Lionsgate Home Entertainment. From executive producer Joe Dante (director of The Howling, Gremlins and Small Soldiers), the film stars Robert Picardo (TV’s “Star Trek: Voyager”) alongside Ray Campbell (AMC’s “Breaking Bad”) in this “good old fashioned slasher flick” (Dread Central) about a group of friends whose lakeside party turns deadly when they make a terrifying discovery. The Trail of Blood DVD includes a directors’ commentary and will be available for the suggested retail price of $26.98.
Synopsis
On a weekend camping trip deep in the forest, Jim, a young U.S. Marine enlistee, and his friends stumble upon the murdered bodies of a vacationing couple. They’re suddenly taken hostage by a deeply disturbed war veteran on a sadistic killing spree, leaving Jim and his friends fighting to get out of the forest alive.
