I didn’t hate WWZ but sure didn’t love it either actually really forgettable this could have been Epic with the budget and cast but it was just neutered of any real horror showing little respect for its source material that inspired it. It made bank so they will keep putting them out for mass consumption can’t wait to see what these studio execs come up with for a follow up to one of the worst endings I can recall.

I’d dig a sequel. However they sort of wrote themselves into a corner with the ending. Unless they go the way of zombie ‘evolution’ like Resident Evil (explaining that they were made by some genetic research) I’m scratching my head over what they could do. It’s an ending that does offer something different for zombies; but also wedges your universe in a corner.
