Will Graham Facing the Death Penalty in Hannibal Season Two?Back in July, Season One of NBC’s incredible show “Hannibal” left us all hanging on the proverbial cliff, wondering what the fate of FBI investigator Will Graham, who found himself accused of murder, would be.

Though we’ll of course have to wait until the show returns to find out, E! provided some details today which give us a little insight into what will be going down come Season Two.

The site reports that “Will is in deep you-know-what,” and that he could be facing the death penalty. His only saving grace will perhaps be a lawyer named Leonard Braver, who takes on Will’s difficult and extremely high profile case.

We’re pulling for ya, Will!

“Hannibal” was developed for television by Bryan Fuller, who also serves as writer and executive producer. In addition to Fuller, Martha De Laurentiis, Jesse Alexander, Chris Brancato, Sara Colleton, Katie O’Connell, Elisa Roth, Sidonie Dumas, and Christophe Riandee also serve as executive producers. The series is produced by Gaumont International Television, Dino De Laurentiis Company, and Living Dead Guy Productions and co-commissioned internationally by Sony Pictures Television Networks.

The new season will begin no earlier than midseason.

Synopsis
From Bryan Fuller, the co-creator of TV’s “Wonderfalls” and “Pushing Daisies,” and David Slade, the director of Hard Candy and The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, and based on the novels of Thomas Harris, “Hannibal: Season One” delves into the complex mind of iconic villain Hannibal Lecter.

Starring a critically acclaimed cast including Emmy® Award nominee Hugh Dancy (Elizabeth I, Showtime’s “The Big C”), Academy® Award nominee Laurence Fishburne (What’s Love Got to Do with It, Lead Actor, 1993; The Matrix), and Palme d’Or winner Mads Mikkelsen (Best Actor, The Hunt; Casino Royale), the “deliciously disturbing” (Chicago Sun Times) series captured TV audiences, premiering to over 4.3 million viewers.

FBI Agent Will Graham (Dancy) hunts the most notorious serial killers. Graham is both gifted and cursed with an extraordinary ability: He can think like his prey, seeing what they see and feeling what they feel. What he doesn’t know is that his new partner is the most notorious serial killer of all. While pursuing an especially troubling, cannibalistic murderer, Special Agent Jack Crawford (Fishburne) teams Graham with a highly respected psychiatrist – a man with a taste for the criminally minded: Dr. Hannibal Lecter (Mikkelsen). Dr. Lecter tests Graham every step of the way, toying with him and playing a game all his own, while they work to unravel the mystery and catch the killer. Like only Lecter can, he twists Graham’s mind, daring him to question everything he knows about others…and himself.

The complete first season contains all 13 episodes, including one episode never before aired on TV, plus audio commentaries on select episodes, deleted scenes, a gag reel, storyboards, and multiple featurettes that cut deep into the creation of the series. Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation – First Trailer and Artwork!

    Published

    on

As a fan of flicks like Mad Monster Party, I was surprisingly pleased with the last two Hotel Transylvania affairs. For my money you can put the classic monsters in just about anything, and I’ll watch it happily, and these animated features feel like a natural progression of the 1967 Rankin and Bass classic. Which is why I’m looking forward to Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, and if you are too, check out the film’s new trailer and poster.

Directed by Genndy Tartakovsky, who co-wrote the film with Michael McCullers, Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation features the voices of Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg, Selena Gomez, Kevin James, Fran Drescher, Steve Buscemi, Molly Shannon, David Spade, Keegan-Michael Key, and Mel Brooks.

Look for it in theaters on July 13, 2018.

    Synopsis:
In Sony Pictures Animation’s Hotel Transylvania 3: Summer Vacation, join our favorite monster family as they embark on a vacation on a luxury monster cruise ship so Drac can take a summer vacation from providing everyone else’s vacation at the hotel. It’s smooth sailing for Drac’s Pack as the monsters indulge in all of the shipboard fun the cruise has to offer, from monster volleyball to exotic excursions, and catching up on their moon tans.

But the dream vacation turns into a nightmare when Mavis realizes Drac has fallen for the mysterious captain of the ship, Ericka, who hides a dangerous secret that could destroy all of monsterkind.

Universal Acquires Riley Sager’s Final Girls for Film Adaptation

    Published

    on

The “final girl” has long been a staple of the horror film genre, and lately there have been several films with just about that very same title focusing on her and/or them. Well, guess what… there’s another one coming as Deadline is reporting that Universal Pictures has won a bidding battle to option rights for Final Girls, the bestselling novel from Riley Sager that hit shelves this past July.

The movie adaptation will be produced by Anonymous Content’s Nicole Clemens along with Sugar23’s Ashley Zalta and Michael Sugar as that stand-alone company continues to ramp up.

Sager’s book centers on Quincy Carpenter, who 10 years ago as a college student went on vacation to Pine Cottage with five friends and came back alone, the only survivor of a horror movie-scale massacre. In an instant, the press dubbed her a “Final Girl,” coined for the group of similar survivors.

We’ll have more for you on this as it comes.
