Plot Details Arrive for A Haunted House 2; Director ReturnsSome quick casting news has come in for Marlon Wayans’ sequel to A Haunted House, entitled A Haunted House 2, as Variety reports that Jaime Pressly, Gabriel Iglesias and Ashley Rickards have joined the production.

Director Michael Tiddes will be returning for more supernatural tomfoolery for the sequel which is intent on spoofing the likes of Paranormal Activity 4, Sinister, The Possession, Insidious, The Conjuring and more.

The original A Haunted House took in around $40 million worldwide. Open Road Films has acquired U.S. distribution rights to spoof sequel A Haunted House 2, starring Marlon Wayans, who is also co-writing the script. Look for the flick in theaters on March 28th, 2014.

Synopsis
After losing his possessed girlfriend Kisha in a car crash, Malcolm (Marlon Wayans) meets and falls for Megan, a single white mother of two. As he moves into a new home with the family, Malcolm discovers bizarre paranormal events surrounding the children and the property. To complicate matters, a back-from-the-dead Kisha moves in across the street, and there’s nothing worse than the scorn of a demonic ex-girlfriend…

With spine-tingling tension and hilarious punch-lines A Haunted House 2 spoofs supernatural horror movie hits such as Paranormal Activity 4, Sinister, The Possession, Insidious, The Conjuring, and more. This time… it’s not just the house that’s haunted!

  1. Guess there is no real thing to do other than not go see this film. Sadly I feel I will outnumbered by those that will go see this film.

    • There’s plenty you can do. Go to the theater and physically remove these idiots from the building. If we all do that, word will get around and people will be afraid to buy the tickets. What’s the worst that could happen?

  2. Oh man, this is great news! Another hilarious, original movie with a great, talented cast! I can’t wait to see how they spoof The Conjuring. I just hope we get a midnight screening.
