Drafthouse Films Acquires Why Don't You Play in Hell?Some quick distro news has hit the Net for the latest film from director Sion Sono entitled Why Don’t You Play in Hell? as Drafthouse Films has landed the North American rights to the flick, which will soon be having its U.S. premiere at Fantastic Fest.

Sono is best known for his films Suicide Club and Love Exposure. The film is also slated to make its North American premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival. Look for much more on this one soon!

Two men, Muto and Ikegami, hate each other. Muto desperately wants to help his daughter, Mitsuko, star in a movie. Meanwhile, Ikegami falls in love with Mitsuko, knowing that she’s the daughter of his foe. Hirata, a filmmaker, and Koji, a young movie-lover, get dragged into this complicated situation that heads into an unexpected direction.
