Michelle Rodriguez Back for More Zombie Fighting Action in Resident Evil: Retribution

What's this? Resident Evil: Retribution news that didn't come from Milla Jovovich on Twitter? We never thought we'd see the day! Even crazier? The news itself!
Bloody Disgusting is reporting that Michelle Rodriguez has signed to reprise her role as "Rain Ocampo" in Paul W.S. Anderson's Resident Evil: Retribution 3D! Rodriguez first took on the role in Anderson's 2002 live-action adaptation of the video game franchise.
Wasn't she undead? No word yet on if this will be a cameo flashback or a more meaty role. Stay tuned.
Written and directed by Paul Anderson, Resident Evil: Retribution stars Milla Jovovich, Boris Kodjoe, Shawn Roberts, Sienna Guillory, and Colin Salmon.
Expect lots of bullets and Matrix-style slow motion. Look for Resident Evil: Retribution in theatres on September 14, 2012 from Screen Gems.
