I was interested UNTIL I saw the trailer. After Riptide I’m kinda burned out on the Dead Island games and this looks like the same old thing with better traversal. If they clean it up and get rid of the exploits that ruined co-op I might give it a rental.

Hm…am I the only one who watches gameplay footage and goes “no no, do this not that, come on don’t doddle around. just run and don’t fight.” ?

I admit I like Dead Island despite it’s bugs and slightly stiff combat; one of my favorite bits is being able to snap zombie limbs with a blunt object and sever them with blades. By this gameplay material; it seems to have much more fluid combat; which is a big upside. And introducing new creatures and a day-night element is interesting.

Initially I wasn’t interested at all but color me curious and I’ll give this a play.
