Tonight is the “Lunar Eclipse” on “Teen Wolf”, and having already seen the “Summer Finale” episode, we can say that it’s just as uneven as the rest of Season 3 so far but still a lot of fun.
“Teen Wolf” Episode 3.12 – “Lunar Eclipse” (8/19/13)
Under Deaton’s advice, Scott and his friends use an ancient but extremely dangerous ritual to help them both save the lives of the people they love and stop Deucalion from achieving his goal.
Following tonight’s airing of Episode 3.12, the series goes on hiatus until Monday, January 6, 2014, when it returns with 12 more Season 3 episodes and two new cast members that have been announced thus far:
First is Hellboy‘s Doug Jones, who will play a “known killer” named Barrow in the season’s 15th episode (no word yet on how long he’ll be sticking around Beacon Hills).
Next is Arden Cho (“Pretty Little Liars”), whose entrance will keep Scott and friends on their toes while bringing a completely new culture and supernatural influence to the show. Executive Producer Jeff Davis said her storyline will play a heavy role in the second half of the season. “We’re heading into a new mythology based on the Kitsune myth, which some people might know a little bit about,” he said at San Diego Comic-Con. “It is a very, very fascinating Japanese shape-shifter myth about the were-fox and the trickster spirit.”
