A long dormant volcano under Yellowstone threatens the United States and beyond in Super Eruption, heading to DVD from Arc Entertainment on August 13th. Check out the flick’s trailer and synopsis, and look for artwork soon.

Directed by Matt Codd and written by Rafael Jordan, Super Eruption stars Richard Burgi (ABC’s “Desperate Housewives”), Juliet Aubrey (“Primeval”), and MyAnna Buring (“Ripper Street”, The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn – Parts 1 and 2).

Synopsis:
A “super volcano” lying dormant for thousands of years under Yellowstone National Park is threatening to erupt and wipe out much of North America. As lava explodes through the park, Yellowstone’s top scientist (Juliet Aubrey) and a fearless park ranger (Richard Burgi) work frantically together on a plan to save not only the park, but the entire world.
