Zombies and Dinosaurs Roam Free In Area 407: Part Two

Post Thumb:

Zombies and Dinosaurs Roam Free In Area 407: Part TwoLast year saw the release of yet another found footage horror film in Area 407, the horrifying tale of plane crash survivors who suffer a fate worse than death when they crash land directly into a government testing facility inhabited by big-ass dinosaurs.

Later this year the ante gets upped with Area 407: Part Two, and this time zombies are being added to the mix. Area 51 ain’t got nothing on this shit!!

Directed by Jay Lee, Area 407: Part Two stars Abigail Schrader and Samantha Lester. Check out the concept poster and trailer below.

The original Area 407 featured lost footage too real for reality and too disturbing for fiction. The film opened with two teenagers flying from New York to Los Angeles on New Year’s Eve, whose nightmare began when their plane hit extreme turbulence mid-flight. The plane crashed in a remote government testing area, and the handful of survivors from the crash, bloody and disoriented, were pursued in the darkness by unknown predators, part of the government’s top-secret Mesa Experiment.

Area 407: Part Two features the survivors of the plane crash fighting for their lives in even more terrifying circumstances as more of the horrifying government conspiracy unfolds.

They sent in zombie soldiers to deal with the dinosaurs they’d made? What next, do they send in government werewolves to take out the zombies? Is this the horror movie equivalent of “There was an old woman who swallowed a fly”?

I wonder if there’s any hope of a Z-Rex or some other kind of zombiesaur in this?

Shit, I bet The Asylum is already copyrighting ‘Z-Rex’ as a movie title.

Good lord, I can shit out a better Photoshop job than that poster in 30 minutes. Hell, Birdemic’s poster looks more professional than that.

As for the movie, is this going to be another 90 minutes of walking around being frightened by sounds, only to have the monsters attack for 30 seconds?

Is… is this for real? I’m honestly having an unusually hard time processing it.
