Another Round of New Stills from The Frozen Ground With The Frozen Ground heading our way in just a couple of weeks, Lionsgate has released a few new stills; and of course we have them all for you right here, not that they show off much more than people standing around a lot.

The Frozen Ground marks the directorial debut of Scott Walker, who also wrote the script which is based on true events surrounding Alaska’s most notorious serial predator, Robert Hansen. Nicolas Cage, John Cusack, Radha Mitchell, Vanessa Hudgens, and Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson star.

It opens nationwide in theatres and On Demand August 23rd.

Synopsis:
The film follows Alaskan detective Glenn Flothe (Nicolas Cage) as he sets out to end the murderous rampage of Robert Hansen (John Cusack), a serial killer who has gone unnoticed for 13 years. As the bodies of street girls start to add up in Anchorage, fear strikes a chord with the public. Risking his life, Detective Flothe goes on a personal manhunt to find the killer before the next body surfaces. When a 17-year-old escapee reveals key information about the case, Flothe is finally able to trail the killer. But will he catch him in time to save the next victim?
