Website for Dexter Season Six Gets a Facelift; New Synopsis

With what we’ve seen far of the upcoming Season Six of Showtime’s “Dexter”, October 2nd simply cannot get here soon enough! To help pass the time, however, the powers-that-be have launched a redesigned website for the series and also provided a slightly more detailed synopsis of what we can expect.

Edward James Olmos, Colin Hanks, Molly Parker, Brea Grant, Aimee Garcia, Mos Def, Josh Cooke, and Billy Brown have all landed guest starring or recurring arcs in the upcoming episodes, joining regulars Michael C. Hall, Jennifer Carpenter, Desmond Harrington, James Remar, David Zayas, C.S. Lee, and Lauren Velez.

Synopsis:
The explosively popular “Dexter” is back with a vengeance for a sixth season of startling suspense and unexpected twists. It’s been a year since last season’s shocking and heartbreaking conclusion, and mild mannered criminologist-cum-grisly serial killer Dexter Morgan (Michael C. Hall) has come to terms with who he is. But his existence is shattered when he crosses paths with an enemy unlike any he’s faced before. A delusional religious zealot with unflinching convictions, this new adversary soon draws Dexter into a dangerous game that could well end in disaster.
