San Diego Comic-Con 2013: New Adaptation on its Way Looking to Turn a ProphetAll things Comic-Con are regrettably in the air, and while we loathe this time of year as it’s exhausting, we are happy to see cool news come out of it. Next out the gate? Another comic adaptation from the makers of The Twilight Saga.

According to The Wrap, Outlier has acquired feature film rights to the comic series Prophet, an apocalyptic crime thriller from author Daniel Corey, whose acclaimed Moriarty was published by Image Comics. Outlier is a Los Angeles-based production company founded by Twilight producer Mark Morgan and E. Thompson (Rites of Spring).

Comic Synopsis:
Prophet follows a killer-for-hire afflicted with supernatural visions who realizes his destiny is to use his special skills to wage war against demons and drug lords. Set in present-day Mexico, Prophet must learn to accept his fate: that he is the latest in a long line of visionary warriors.

More as it comes.
