Guillermo del Toro Feeds His Frankenstein Benedict CumberbatchIt’s been a long while since last we’ve heard anything about Guillermo del Toro’s version of Frankenstein, but with Pacific Rim on deck and Crimson Peak gearing up, the man spoke a bit about the flick and has zeroed in on his Doctor F!

In an interview with The Daily Telegraph out of the UK, Del Toro revealed that “he is hoping to direct Benedict Cumberbatch again [after Crimson Peak] in a new film version of Frankenstein [as the doctor].” Honestly? That’s a pretty great pick if you ask us, especially since Cumberbatch already starred as both the monster and the doctor in Danny Boyle’s stage version of Frankenstein. We caught that performance, and believe us when we tell you this dude has the chops to pull it off.

Still, we are pretty far away from this happening, so who knows? In any event Pacific Rim hits theatres this Friday and Crimson Peak will star Cumberbatch with Jessica Chastain and Charlie Hunnam. More on that one and this as it comes.
