Battlefield and CoD are going to ruin the game industry (for a lot of people). We’re going to get to a point that if your game doesn’t sell like these two publishers will stop taking chances on new IP’s or force existing ones into the CoC “mold” to bring the masses in. Case in point is the new Dead Rising. During E3 they said they wanted to bring in the “Call of Duty crowd”. Have you played Dead Rising? It’s NOTHING like CoD yet they want to make it “gritty and realistic” complete with airstrikes. I rest my case your honor.

I’d add that it’s also not in any way in the slightest bit to do with horror. C’mon guys, if you’re going to go this route, you may as well lay down reviews of Fast & Furious and The Croods.
