I don’t know about you cats, but I won’t be happy until Slimer gets a chance to talk Ghostbusters 3. In any event Rick Moranis, who played Louis Tully in the first two films, has chimed in on the shenanigans. Read on for details.

Empire Online caught up with Moranis, who had this to say about the sequel…

“I haven’t talked to Danny (Aykroyd) about it,” he tells the UK magazine. “Somebody he’s associated with called me, and I said, ‘I wouldn’t not do it, but it’s got to be good.’ You know, I’m not interested in doing anything I’ve already done, and I thought the second one was a disappointment. But I guess I’m interested in where that guy is now. I sort of see him as being Bernie Madoff’s cellmate in jail. Both of them being so orderly that they race to get up and make their beds.”

Ivan Reitman will direct the movie if it happens. Men in Black 3 scribe Etan Cohen had been tapped to rewrite Ghostbusters 3 for the studio. You know all the rest.
