I really can’t believe how much studios are utilizing MySpace to spread the word about their movies. It’s kinda creepy for reasons I can’t really describe; something about it just weirds me out.
Speaking of creepy; the trailer for David (Blade: Trinity) Goyer’s remake of The Invisible is now up at, you guessed it, the movie’s MySpace page. It looks pretty damn cool, but then a film about a dead kid trying to solve his own murder should be, right? Damn straight.
The Invisible doesn’t open until January 26th, so expect to be seeing and hearing a lot more about it in the coming months. In the meantime you should do yourself a favor and seek out the original, which we’ve also heard is a creepy bit of filmmaking … just not in the same way as MySpace.
