Nowadays it seems as if everyone is chasing the same dragons as a means to set themselves apart and become the definitive destination for online horror-themed entertainment. Another YouTube channel has opened, and it has some big plans.
The Orchard, a pioneering independent music and video distribution company operating in more than 26+ global markets, has entered into a long-term marketing and branding relationship with horror film web publisher Shock Till You Drop (a division of Crave Online and Evolve Media).
The multi-year global pact will see the companies combine their resources to acquire and market contemporary horror films through all home video channels including digital and DVD. Crave Online gets over 25 million unique viewers monthly on its male oriented websites. The Orchard will use its expanding YouTube Multi-Channel Network Group (ranked #6 by ComScore in monthly unique viewers) to launch a Shock YouTube channel which will act as a destination for horror fans to access what’s new and cool in horror film and media.
