Diego Luna to Spice Up Elysium

Some more possible casting news has come in for District 9 director Neill Blomkamp’s latest film, Elysium, and we’ve got the details for you right here with a side of lime.

Variety is reporting that Diego Luna (pictured right; Y Tu Mama Tambien) is in talks to sign up for active duty in the flick. If the deal is sealed he’ll be joining the previously announced Sharlto Copley, Jodie Foster, Matt Damon, Wagner Moura, Alice Braga and William Fichtner in this upcoming sci-fi thriller that tells the tale of what happens when a battle ensues between aliens and humans for the right to colonize another planet.

Look for it in theatres on March 1st, 2013, providing we all don’t croak in 2012. Friggin’ Mayans have to try to ruin everything.
