TV by the Numbers
Well, “Hannibal” fans, it’s now or never to have your voices heard if you want NBC to renew the show as in overnight results, last night’s ep tied the series low with a 1.0 adults 18-49 rating, down 9 percent from last week’s 1.1. Can Eddie Izzard’s return in Episode 1.11, “Rôti,” help save it?
Yeah, things don’t look good for Hannibal and Will, but you never know. If enough of us make enough noise, NBC could possibly keep it on the schedule. If not, there’s always Amazon or possibly another savior waiting in the wings. I mean, where else are we gonna learn all these cool new cooking terms? (To save you time, we looked up “rôti,” and per Wikipedia, it’s French for “roast” – and with what we know about Hannibal, we don’t even want to think about what (or rather, whom) he’ll be roasting. (Thanks to DC reader C King for pointing us in the direction of the correct translation.)
