Hannibal Drops in the Ratings; Eddie Izzard Returning in Episode 1.11 - RôtiWell, “Hannibal” fans, it’s now or never to have your voices heard if you want NBC to renew the show as in overnight results, last night’s ep tied the series low with a 1.0 adults 18-49 rating, down 9 percent from last week’s 1.1. Can Eddie Izzard’s return in Episode 1.11, “Rôti,” help save it?

Yeah, things don’t look good for Hannibal and Will, but you never know. If enough of us make enough noise, NBC could possibly keep it on the schedule. If not, there’s always Amazon or possibly another savior waiting in the wings. I mean, where else are we gonna learn all these cool new cooking terms? (To save you time, we looked up “rôti,” and per Wikipedia, it’s French for “roast” – and with what we know about Hannibal, we don’t even want to think about what (or rather, whom) he’ll be roasting. (Thanks to DC reader C King for pointing us in the direction of the correct translation.)

“Hannibal” Episode 1.11 – “RÔTI” (airs 6/6/13)
WITH DR. GIDEON ON THE LOOSE, THE BAU TEAM TRIES TO PREVENT A REVENGEFUL KILLING SPREE WITH ONE OF THEIR OWN AS A TARGET – When Dr.Gideon (Eddie Izzard) escapes from police custody, he seeks to kill psychiatrists who have profiled him. Will (Hugh Dancy) and the BAU team try to track him down by following Freddie Lounds’ (Lara Jean Chorostecki) blog before Gideon can get to Alana (Caroline Dhavernas).

Hannibal (Mads Mikkelsen) misleads the BAU team in order to put Will in the same room as Gideon, and Jack (Laurence Fishburne) questions Dr. Chilton (Raul Esparza) regarding Gideon’s escape. Also starring Hettienne Park, Aaron Abrams, and Scott Thompson.
