Filmmaker Chris R. Notarile wrote and directed a short based on the backstory behind A Nightmare on Elm Street. His movie is entitled Krueger: Another Tale From Elm Street, and it’s very impressive for a fan film. See it right here, right now!
The six-minute movie stars Roberto Lombardi as Freddy Krueger before he was burned, and Lombardi actually does a pretty convincing job in the role. He is quite creepy trolling the playground and attempting to kidnap a young girl named Suzy (played by Brenna Lakatos).

Synopsis
In Springwood, long before he became a demon of dreams, Freddy Krueger stalked the streets under another name – The Springwood Slasher. A little girl will learn why she should never get into a stranger’s car.
