Even More Good News for the World War Z Adaptation?

It's amazing how quickly things can turn around when they look their most bleak. It doesn't happen very much, but man, when it does? You just can't help but smile from ear-to-ear.

Mind you, NOTHING has been officially confirmed as of yet, but Bleeding Cool is reporting that World War Z is not only going ahead, but cinematographer Robert Richardson is prepping one of his London studios for the project right now because World War Z appears to be on the "absolute tip of the cusp of the verge of crossing the line and entering production."

Again, this is coming straight out of the rumor mill so take that for what it's worth. Brad Pitt is still set to star with Marc Forster directing.

If you haven't read the book (World War Z review here) yet, do yourself a favor and do so. It's a delightfully brisk read and features one of the best takes on an ailing subgenre you're apt to find anywhere.

Until they dispute the PG-13 rating rumors, I'll leave the champagne corked.
