Julian Sands Signs on for Dexter Season 8

To kick off your Saturday morning, we have a casting update for the eighth and final season of Showtime’s “Dexter”: Julian Sands (Warlock, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, “24”) has signed on as a guest star, as has Darri Ingolfsson (“Last Resort”).
Per TV Guide, Sands (pictured) will play Miles Foster, a wealthy international businessman. Further details on his role are being kept under wraps. As for Ingolfsson, his casting was announced by EW a while ago, but we somehow missed it. He’ll play an antiques dealer of old medieval equipment who starts dating Dexter’s neighbor in a multi-episode arc.
“Dexter” Season 8, starring Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter with previously announced guest stars that include Yvonne Strahovski, Bethany Joy Lenz, Rhys Coiro, Charlotte Rampling, Nick Gomez, and Sean Patrick Flanery, premieres on June 30th.
