Oh no! Bloody Disgusting went ahead a ruined the finale of Feast for us. Not to worry though, the ending that was spoilt is not the one found in the finished version of the film. It also seems that this old ending description does not reveal anything important about the feature. I hope Bloody Disgusting was right since some facts about the monsters were given away. Beware!
So, how did the film originally end when it was first made two years ago? It is discovered that the creatures who have been raining hell down on the bar patrons are somewhat sensitive to sunlight. By sensitive I mean they blow the fuck up. While it’s usually fun to have explosions in films, the thought of the survivors simply knocking some openings in the bar’s walls to let in sunlight sounds a bit too From Dusk Till Dawn. Luck is on our side since this ending was cut and re-shot.
Make sure to catch Feast during its limited theatrical release on September 22nd in these theatres. The DVD will launch a few weeks later on October 17, 2006.
